Currently he serves as a member of AILA's liaison committee to the Vermont Service Center (this is his second year on this committee).  Before he established a career in law, Manjunath was a Professional Engineer (Civil) in Georgia for 9 years and he worked in the area of Wastewater Treatment Plant Design for industries and municipalities. He attended GSU College of Law part time from 1995 to 1999, while working full time as a Civil Engineer. At GSU, he won the CALI award for the highest grade in International Environmental Law for his paper titled "Conflict Between Economic Development and Environmental Protection in Developing Countries."
